Verdict of No Cause for General Surgeon

Our client, a general surgeon, was accused of causing nerve damage during a thoracotomy. The plaintiff claimed permanent damage to her vocal cords. Our attorney persuaded the jury that the surgeon did not depart from acceptable standards of care and the jury returned a verdict of no cause for action against the surgeon.
