NVN represented a national manufacturer of automatic doors in a case brought by an elderly plaintiff who alleged that the automatic door at a supermarket malfunctioned and closed repeatedly on his wife which caused her to fall and fracture a hip, and ultimately die from complications. After an extensive discovery, our attorneys were able to show that there was no design or manufacturing defect and the plaintiff discontinued against the manufacturers.
